Description

The Barolo Riserva Ginestra from Cascina Chicco is a sublime expression of Nebbiolo that comes from the eastern side of Monforte d'Alba.

The harvest takes place exclusively by hand. This is followed by fermentation in steel for 15 days and refinement in steel containers, oak barrels and bottles for a total period of 84 months.

The color is an intense ruby red. On the nose it reveals a complex aromatic palette with notes of black cherry, mint, truffle and sweet violet. In the mouth the wine is powerful but at the same time elegant, with ripe tannins.

It is perfect in combination with roasts, stewed meats and game dishes.
