Description

Historical name of the Monforte d'Alba area, Aldo Conterno is deeply linked to the prestigious cru of Bussia, characterized by the presence of calcareous marl and sands, which allow Nebbiolo to reach the highest expressive heights. In this famous area, Conterno owns three vineyards: Romirasco, Cicala and Colonnello, real family jewels.

Granbussia is produced only in the best years and in a limited number of bottles, with a rigorous selection of the best grapes of Bussia. At the end of the fermentation, carried out with a long maceration on the skins, the wine ages for at least 30 months in large oak barrels and 6 years in the bottle.

Harmonious and elegant, it has a garnet color with delicate aromas of small red fruits, floral hints, hints of licorice root and medicinal herbs. The sip is deep, long and velvety, with a very persistent finish.

To be paired with stews, braised meats and game.
