Description

A now legendary Barolo, which is part of the small circle of absolute excellence of our peninsula. It is produced only in the most favorable years, with a selection of the best grapes of the famous cru Francia of Serralunga d'Alba.

The Nebbiolo vineyards are cultivated at an altitude between 350 and 450 meters above sea level, facing west and south west, fresh and sunny, on soils composed of precious marl. The production process takes place in full respect of ancient traditions, with fermentation in oak vats and long maceration on the skins. The wine ages for 6-7 years in large Austrian oak barrels, before completing the refinement in the bottle.

In the glass it is garnet red. Elegant and refined, it offers aromas of violet, dried rose petals, small red fruits, helichrysum, balsamic hints and delicate spices. The taste is deep and complex, with evolved tannins, a fresh and very persistent finish.

To be paired with a braised meat in Barolo or stewed game.
