Description

The Bolgheri Rosso Il Seggio di Poggio al Tesoro is located in its own vineyards located in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno. The name is a reference to the homonymous river, the Seggio, which flows along the entire area of Bolgheri.

This wine is produced from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes. Once the alcoholic fermentation is completed, the wine is aged for 15 months in partially new French oak barrels.

Intense ruby red in color, it is a wine with intense aromas of blueberry and cherry, enriched with characteristic mineral and spicy notes. The taste includes sensations of balance and softness, which accompany towards a final of great cleanliness, length and elegance.

Suitable for pairing with roasts and braised meats, this wine is ideal for accompanying game dishes.
