Bonarda dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC Vaiolet 2015 Monsupello

The Douce Noir Vaiolet of Monsupello born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Torricella, Verzate, Redan and Pietra de 'Giorgi.

It is produced exclusively with Croatina grapes, harvested around the first week of October. The vinification begins with the destemming-crushing of the grapes, before moving on to a period of cold pre-maceration before alcoholic fermentation. Then the flower wine is extracted, which will be the basis for the Vaiolet, then making a second fermentation before being bottled.

Vaiolet is characterized by an intense red color with violet reflections. It has an intense and fine bouquet, enriched with pleasant hints of violet and aromas of small red fruits. On the palate it is pleasantly dry, characterized by a good softness that accompanies the balanced tannin of the Croatina.

Perfect to accompany appetizers, cold cuts and first courses, it is ideal in combination with white meats and red meats.
