Description

The Brunello di Montalcino of the Le Ragnaie winery is born in vineyards located on the Lume Spento pass, which is the highest point of the entire Montalcino area.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 30 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 36 months before being bottled.

This Brunello is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with delicate aromas of nutmeg and licorice, enriched with pleasant hints of violets. On the palate it is warm, enveloping, structured and pleasantly elegant. The wine has velvety and persistent tannins.

Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and mushrooms, it is ideal in combination with risotto, stews, roasts and game.
