Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Vigna del Lago di Val di Suga comes from vineyards located in Val di Cava, in the Sienese municipality of Montalcino, in Tuscany.

It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in cement tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 30 months in new French oak barrels, followed by a further aging in bottle for at least 18 months.

Brunello Vigna del Lago di Val di Suga has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with elegant hints of morello cherry, blackberry and cherry, accompanied by pleasant tertiary aromas of tobacco, leather and balsamic notes. On the palate it is warm and full-bodied, with fairly firm tannins that soften during aging.

This red wine is perfect to accompany red meat and game dishes.
