Description
The Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Spuntali di Val di Suga comes from vineyards located in Val di Cava, in the Sienese municipality of Montalcino, in Tuscany.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration of about 20 days, in cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by a further refinement in bottle for at least 24 months.
Brunello Vigna Spuntali di Val di Suga has an intense ruby red color, tending to garnet with aging. The nose opens with elegant hints of red fruit jam, accompanied by pleasant balsamic and chocolate notes. On the palate it is balanced, very powerful and full-bodied, with a very long finish.
