Description

Bonacchi's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes.

The grapes are vinified in steel vats with daily pumping over and delestage. Aging takes place in French oak barrels of 110 hl, 45 hl and 22 hl. A small part of the wine, on the other hand, is aged in barriques and tonneaux. The wine rests for 6 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

In the glass the wine appears ruby red with garnet hues. The nose reveals aromas of berry jam, as well as spicy notes of vanilla. The sip is warm and soft, with velvety tannins and a long persistence.

This Riserva is perfect in combination with roasts, braised meats, game and aged cheeses.
