Champagne AOC Ascension Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Millesimé 2009 Carbon
Description
The Champagne Ascension Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Millesimé of Carbon comes from grapes from some Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs, the area of choice for the cultivation of the Chardonnay grape variety.
It is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes, with careful manual harvesting of the bunches. After the classic vinification processes, the second fermentation takes place by refermentation in the bottle, according to the dictates of the champenoise method, refining for a long time on its own yeasts in the plaster caves of the Maison, away from light and in controlled environmental conditions.
Carbon Champagne Ascension Millesimé is characterized by a light golden yellow color, a fine perlage and a creamy foam. On the nose it is ethereal, with notes of yellow fruit and hazelnuts develops a palette of hints in a well-orchestrated game. The attack is languidly round, velvety and pleasantly harmonious and fresh, with great balance.
A champagne to combine with haute cuisine.
Since 2017, Formula 1 has signed an agreement with the Maison Mea-Devavry, which has become the official supplier of Champagne uncorked on the podium of the Grand Prix: the Cuvée Carbon. The bottle, unique in its kind, is totally covered with a thin layer of carbon fiber, the same material that characterizes the technology present in this sport.
