Description

The Champagne Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill by Pol Roger is a purebred Champagne, with a truly powerful character and intensity, characteristics much appreciated by Winston Churchill, a great lover of the Maison, since 1908.

We know that it is produced with a prevalence of Pinot Noir, capable of giving structure and character to the wine, united by a smaller percentage of Chardonnay which gives elegance and harmony; but the final blend is a family secret that will never be revealed.

Champagne Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is characterized by a beautiful pale golden yellow color, with very fine bubbles. The nose immediately gives notes of dried fruit, toasted almond and honey. It is a majestic Champagne in its balance, powerful and complex. On the palate it is seductive and mature. In the mouth it develops all its complex texture, with important mineral notes, which give a great freshness and finesse. It gives a pleasantly long and persistent finish.

It is a collectible, romantic or aperitif wine. It is ideal to serve with precious fresh fish or even with delicate fish first courses.
