Description
Champagne Réserve Impériale is the purest and most mature expression of Moët & Chandon's style, a guarantee of authentic quality and excellence for the entire Maison: produced continuously since 1869, it is among the most iconic labels in the world of Champagne, a vibrant, generous, and captivating sparkling wine, as described by the Maison itself.
Born from a cuvée of more than 100 wines from 150 different villages, it is the result of a refined blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, completed by using 20-30% of the best reserve wines to enhance maturation and provide particular articulation and density. The aging lasts 36 months and takes place on the lees in the bottle, resulting in a complex aromatic profile with fruity echoes and references, pleasantly mineral and slightly toasted.
Réserve Impériale is characterized by an elegant straw yellow color with amber highlights. The bouquet is intense and radiant, with pleasant scents of ripe summer fruits such as peaches, green apple, apricots, and dates, enriched with slight nuances of cashews, toasted hazelnuts, and gingerbread. On the palate, it is vinous and persistent, with a good structure balanced by excellent freshness. The finish is dense, enveloping, and exquisitely aromatic.
The Champagne Réserve Impériale Moët & Chandon, with its fine and persistent perlage, is the sparkling wine most suitable for accompanying dishes with intense and articulated flavors, ideal for accompanying fish salads, braised chicken, caramelized pears, and gingerbread mille-feuille.
