Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva of Tenuta Poggio Bonelli was born in vineyards located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the heart of Chianti Classico, in the province of Siena.

It is produced 95% with Sangiovese grapes and 5% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The wine undergoes a long vinification process for 20 days, in full respect of traditions. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 21 months, and for further 3 months in bottle.

This Chianti Classico Riserva is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with a bouquet of ripe fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of cloves and wisteria. On the palate it is pleasantly dry, with a balanced structure and fine and fruity tannins.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
