Description

Rosso del Conte of Tasca d'Almerita was born in the Girato vineyards located in the Regaleali Estate, in the province of Palermo.

It is produced with Nero d'Avola and Perricone grapes from the estate, harvested during the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 °C for 20 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged in barrique for 18 months before being bottled.

Rosso del Conte is characterized by a brilliant ruby red color. The nose opens with spicy hints of licorice and coffee, enriched by delicate fruity aromas. On the palate it is harmonious and elegant, pleasantly soft and fresh. The wine has a long persistence.

Perfect to accompany dishes based on mushrooms and meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with game, aged cheeses and chocolate.
