Description

The Cortona Syrah il Bosco di Tenimenti Luigi d'Alessandro was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Cortona.

It is produced exclusively with Syrah grapes, harvested only by hand towards the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 20 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for about 18-20 months, before being bottled.

The Bosco is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a bouquet full of fruity hints of black cherries and blackberries, enriched with pleasant balsamic and spicy notes. On the palate it is full and compact, with enveloping tannins and a pleasantly long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany roasts and stews, it is ideal in combination with game and mature cheeses.
