Description
This white wine from Tenuta San Francesco is obtained from a balanced blend of Falanghina, Biancolella, and Pepella, grown in the Tramonti area of the Amalfi Coast, on steep terraced land between 300 and 600 meters above sea level. The vines, trained with traditional pergola and trellising, benefit from a cool climate with strong temperature variations, enhancing their elegance and aromatic complexity.
The harvest takes place in October, with vinification in steel that preserves the expressive purity of the grapes. The wine then ages for a period between 6 and 8 months in steel, followed by an additional 1-2 months in bottle before commercialization, giving it freshness and harmony.
It presents a bright straw-yellow color to the eye. The bouquet is intense and refined, with fruity notes of white peach, citrus nuances, and mineral scents, enriched by delicate hints of herbs such as sage and thyme. On the palate, it is fresh and savory, with vibrant minerality and a soft, satisfying finish.
It pairs perfectly with appetizers and seafood dishes, enhancing their delicacy with its freshness and harmony.
