Description
The Alios of Chateau Sainte-Marie was born in vineyards located in the wine region of Entre-deux-Mers straddling the Dordogne and Garonne rivers.
It is produced with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested and selected by hand. After fermentation, the wine ages for 14 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new.
The Alios of Chateau Sainte-Marie is characterized by a purple ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and rich black fruit, enriched with toasted notes and cedar. On the palate it is round and silky, with elegant tannins and a long and seductive finish.
Perfect to accompany noble poultry and grilled red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
