Description
The Distillers Edition is a Special Release by Caol Ila in which a typical single malt, with malt and smoked tones, is enriched with a finish given by further aging in barrels that previously contained Moscatel wine.
It is characterized by a gold color tending to amber. It opens on vanilla and honey notes, reached by pleasant citrus, peat and Moscatel wine notes. On the palate it is sweet, floral and edelicate, with a hint of pepper and an ethereal shadow in the background.
Ideal straight or in combination with a fruit tart.
