Rum Limited Edition Art Canister Don Papa
Description
Rum Don Papa is a rum produced in a limited edition from molasses from the best sugar cane of the Philippine island of Negros, which remains to age for more than 7 years in American oak barrels, at the foot of Mount Kanlaon. This rum takes its name from Pope Islo, a great revolutionary hero in the war of liberation of the Philippines from Spanish domination.
Slightly amber in color, Rum Don Papa opens to the nose with delicate fruit aromas, which are accompanied by elegant notes of vanilla, honey and candied fruit. On the palate it is soft and delicate, extraordinarily round.
Ideal to serve straight or with ice, this rum is perfect as an ingredient in refined cocktails and long drinks.
The case in which the rum is contained is a work by the artist Lee Paje, winner of the Don Papa Art Competition, an annual competition in which Filipino artists are called to represent Sugarlandia.
