Description

Verduzzo Friulano, together with Picolit, is the other dessert wine par excellence of Friuli. The Torre Rosazza winery vinifies it from its vineyards, located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli area.

It consists of the 100% Verduzzo grape, harvested from the Oleis di Manzano vineyards, between 120 and 150 meters above sea level. The grapes are harvested in late October, then left to dry for about 2 months on racks and finally sent to vinification. It ferments partially in steel containers and partially inside oak barrels. It matures for 6 months, once bottled.

It shines a golden yellow color in the glass. Its bouquet is fruity and sweet, with flavors of peach, apricot, banana, dried fruit. The taste is soft and enveloping, in perfect balance with the flavor and with a tannic hint typical of the variety.

It goes perfectly with Gubana, a typical dessert of the area.
