Description

One of the legendary labels of Angelo Gaja, who was able to create a wine with an eternal charm. Born in one of the most suitable parcels of the Barbaresco area, for centuries famous for producing perfectly ripe grapes with great aromatic intensity.

The best bunches are selected in the vineyard and then carefully chosen in the cellar, before proceeding to fermentation with maceration on the skins. The wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels, for 12 months in large barrels, and then completes the refinement in the bottle.

It is a Barbaresco of refined finesse, with a bright ruby color and delicate aromas of officinal herbs, floral nuances, balsamic hints, aromas of currant, raspberry and licorice root. On the palate it is elegant and harmonious, with a delicate aromatic facet, which leads to a fresh and savory finish.

To be combined with first courses with meat sauce, roasted white meats and noble poultry.
