Description

What kind of wine is it?

Garda Bianco Dal Moro is a white wine from the Garda denomination, crafted to offer a fresh and approachable style, enriched by a pleasant roundness. Vinification involves fermentation at controlled temperature and subsequent maturation in steel vats in contact with fine lees, a technique chosen to maintain the utmost aromatic purity. In the glass, it appears slightly aromatic, featuring a clean profile and a full, smooth sip that best expresses the identity of the lakeside territory.

Where does it come from?

This wine originates from the Lake Garda area, where the lake microclimate directly influences the ripening of the grapes. Mild winters and sunny summers are moderated by cool currents naturally created between the body of water and Monte Baldo. The vineyards root in soils composed mainly of sand and gravel, a geological matrix that ensures a rich supply of minerals and gives the wine a clear and dynamic taste profile.

How is it produced?

Harvest takes place around mid-September and aims to preserve the natural fragrance of the bunches. After careful pressing, the must ferments with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 15 °C for seven days, a process that helps refine the aromatic expression. Subsequently, the wine rests for five months in steel vats, where it remains in contact with the fine lees, a crucial cellar practice to build structure and softness without compromising the original freshness.

Tasting notes

Visually, it displays a bright straw yellow color, enhanced by subtle greenish highlights. On the nose, it offers a slightly aromatic bouquet, with pleasant exotic fruit notes accompanied by fragrant floral aromas. On the palate, the entry is full and round, well balanced by a clear sensation of freshness that makes each sip continuous and harmonious, leading to a clean and persistent finish.

Food pairings

Thanks to its fresh profile and remarkable smoothness, this white is particularly suitable as an aperitif. It naturally complements seafood starters, where its fruity hints support more delicate dishes without ever overpowering them. At the table, it forms a great match with lake fish, a classic local pairing that enhances the round sip and the vibrant character that defines the tasting experience.

When to serve it

It is a label perfect for convivial moments and proves to be an ideal companion for starting informal meals or accompanying light, fish-based lunches. The combination of freshness and structure makes it suitable for occasions where an immediate and neat wine is desired, able to keep pace throughout a meal. The balanced aging guarantees a constant equilibrium and always offers a clean, enjoyable tasting experience.
