Description

What kind of wine it is

The Garda Rosso by Niviana is a red wine made from a blend of black-skinned grapes. Marked by a light and rounded style, it stands out for its fruity profile and remarkable drinkability. This label reflects the identity of the lakeside territory and offers a sip with a pleasant salty finish that accentuates its versatility at the table.

Where it comes from

This red is born on the southern shores of Lake Garda, within an interregional appellation that brings together Lombardy, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige. The area benefits from a climate that favours a balanced ripening of the grapes. Its origin in this shared lakeside setting gives the wine a clear geographical identity, designed to highlight an immediate expression of fruit and a strong inclination for convivial occasions.

How it's produced

The grapes undergo traditional red vinification to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing precise control of temperatures at every stage of the process. Afterwards, the wine rests for a five-month maturation in steel. This technical choice excludes the use of wood in order to maintain a smooth style focused on the fruit.

Tasting notes

To the eye, the wine displays a bright ruby red color. The bouquet is dominated by scents of crisp red fruit, with clear aromas of cherry and raspberry, accompanied in the background by light spicy notes. On the palate, it is vinous, round and free from harshness, offering a pleasant tasting progression that culminates in a salty finish, delivering an extremely balanced tasting experience.

Food pairings

Thanks to its light body and smooth drinkability, this wine pairs easily with boards of mixed cold cuts and starters based on grilled vegetables. It also finds a happy match with delicious preparations such as a chicken salad with aromatic herbs, as well as with flavourful seafood dishes, including grilled tuna. Lastly, its fruity soul makes it an excellent choice to accompany a margherita pizza.

When to serve

Its fresh and direct character makes this bottle the ideal solution for informal gatherings. It's perfect to open for a relaxed aperitif or during a leisurely outdoor summer dinner, especially when the menu alternates simple courses. Its easy-drinking nature and clean taste make it particularly suitable for short-term consumption, ensuring pleasure and great balance.
