Description
This Gavi Granée is produced by Batasiolo, owned by the Dogliani family, who have been making wine in the Langhe for over four decades.
The wine is made exclusively from Cortese grapes, a typical indigenous white grape variety of Piedmont. The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Straw yellow in color, it offers aromas of white flowers and almond on the nose. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with a persistent finish.
It pairs well with asparagus risotto and other vegetable-based dishes.
