Haut Médoc AOC 2013 Château Belgrave
Description
Chateau Belgrave's Haut Médoc Grand Cru Classé V Classé was born in vineyards located in the heart of the AOC Haut-Médoc.
It is produced with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested between September and October. After a delicate vinification, to allow the grape varieties to express their potential, the wine ages for 12-14 months in oak barrels, on the fine lees.
Chateau Belgrave's Haut Médoc Grand Cru Classè is characterized by a dark ruby red color. The nose opens with a complex and harmonious bouquet of cedar, licorice and menthol, accompanied by notes of cherry and cassis. In the mouth it is creamy and velvety, pleasantly tannic and elegant.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and noble poultry, it is ideal in combination with mushrooms and fresh cheeses.
