Irpinia DOC Falanghina Vigna Santa Vara 2024 Tenuta Cavalier Pepe

Vigna Santa Vara is a Falanghina from the Tenuta Cavalier Pepe, made from Falanghina grapes grown in a single estate-owned vineyard located in the Santa Vara area, in the municipality of Luogosano, in the province of Avellino, at about 430 meters above sea level. The soils, which are clay-sandy, deep, and rich in organic matter with the presence of volcanic elements, give the wine a marked territorial identity.

The grapes are harvested by hand and immediately taken to the cellar, where they are selected and pressed whole; vinification takes place at low temperatures with fermentation partly in steel and partly in wood, followed by aging on the fine lees and subsequent maturation in the bottle.

It shows an intense straw yellow color with golden highlights; on the nose, it is complex and aromatic, with notes of exotic fruit and citrus accompanied by spicy hints of white pepper; on the palate, it is elegant and enveloping, with pleasant freshness and long persistence.

It pairs perfectly with seafood dishes, structured first courses, cheese, and preparations with aromatic flavors.
