Description
The Pomerol from Château Siaurac is a red wine from the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, produced by a historic company located on the eastern slope of the Néac plateau. The vineyard stretches over more than 46 hectares of clay, sandy, and gravel soils, cultivated with an environmentally friendly approach and undergoing conversion to organic farming. The main varieties grown are Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, which contribute in a balanced way to the elegance and structure of this wine.
The vinification is carried out with great attention to the quality of the grapes, which are hand-picked and carefully selected. After fermentation, the wine ages for about 14 months, partly in French oak barrels and partly in cement vats, to preserve freshness and typicity. This process allows for the harmonization of the fruity and spicy components, maintaining the authenticity of the terroir of origin.
On the nose, it expresses itself with intense aromas of ripe berries, accompanied by elegant notes of sweet spices. On the palate, it reveals itself as soft and enveloping, with a refined balance between fruit, smooth tannins, and a pleasant freshness that supports the long and aromatic finish.
It pairs perfectly with dishes based on red meat, roasts, or aged cheeses.
