Description
Gaja's Langhe Chardonnay Rossj Bass originates in several vineyards, including the Rossj vineyard, located in Barbaresco and Serralunga d'Alba.
It is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18 ° C for about 4 weeks. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques and subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for about 7 months.
Rossj Bass is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose opens with elegant hints of flowers and citrus, enriched with pleasant notes of honey. On the palate it reveals an elegant structure and good acidity, the finish is pleasantly fresh and persistent.
Perfect to accompany pasta dishes and white meats, it is ideal in combination with fish dishes and fresh cheeses.
