Description
Casale del Giglio Merlot is the result of a careful study conducted by the Lazio winery on this variety. It originates from vineyards located in the Agro Pontino area, 50 km from Rome.
Every year the cellar guarantees the highest quality level of the cellar practices, aimed at obtaining a wine of equally high quality. Vinification takes place in steel, including malolactic fermentation. The wine ages for 8-12 months in oak barrels, to then complete the maturation in the bottle.
At sight it presents itself in a ruby red color, with olfactory notes of cherry, black currant and strawberry, on a slightly herbaceous and cocoa background. In the mouth it is structured, soft and fresh.
Perfect to accompany traditional Amatriciana bucatini.
