Description

What kind of wine it is

Guerriero della Terra by Guerrieri is a red wine from Marche created from a blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It offers a fresh and persistent profile, with structure shaped by careful aging. This wine combines fruit and spice in a smooth texture, ensuring a balanced drinking experience perfect for the table.

Where it comes from

Guerriero della Terra comes to life in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, on lands managed by Guerrieri. The hilly landscape of Marche promotes vine cultivation, historically combined with olive oil and cereal production on this estate. This specific geographical origin enhances the blend red wines, allowing local and international varieties to harmonize and offer a strong food-friendly character.

How it is made

The Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes undergo an extended maceration on the skins, essential for extracting color and structural elements. Vinification is carried out through temperature-controlled fermentation for aromatic precision. Once this stage is complete, the wine ages in barrels for at least a year, a process which rounds out the tannins. The journey finishes with twelve months of bottle aging.

Tasting notes

In the glass it shows a purple-red color. The bouquet opens with aromas of rose and cherry, enriched by hints of pink pepper and cardamom. On the palate, the sip is fresh, offers good persistence, and finishes with an ordered finale. The overall tasting experience shows an excellent balance between fruit and spice, resulting in a wine both lively and well-supported.

Food pairings

At the table, this red wine shines best alongside roasted red meats and game, where its structure complements the rich flavors of the cooking. It is also highly recommended with aged cheeses, which bring out the flavor profile and the spicy character of the blend. Thanks to its versatility, it suits flavorful dishes while keeping a clean and enjoyable profile.

When to serve it

This wine is the perfect choice when looking for a thoughtful pairing with meat-based meals or cheese boards. Thanks to its extended time in barrels and bottle, it is best to let it breathe briefly before serving to release its aromas. Its presence enhances convivial occasions. To bring out its balance and freshness, it is best served at the appropriate temperature for well-structured reds.
