Description

Letizia from Terra Fageto is a white wine made exclusively from Passerina grapes grown in the Campofilone area.

Located near the coast, the vineyards sit at around 250 meters above sea level on predominantly pebbly and calcareous soils, shielded from humidity thanks to the constantly blowing winds. Hand-picked in early October, the grapes are gently pressed at the winery before fermenting for about 15 days at 15°C. The wine ages for 3 months on its fine lees and another 3 months in the bottle.

Brilliant straw yellow in color, it presents aromas of elderflower, gooseberry, chamomile, and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, it has good structure and expresses a pleasant fragrance of white-fleshed fruit. Refreshing, mineral, and with a persistent finish.

Try it with fish soups and raw seafood; it also pairs well with fried dishes and white meats.
