Description

Petit Lot Violette red wine is produced in Australia by Windows Estate, a winery located and managed by Chris & Jo Davies. "Violette" is the name of their daughter and of one of the company's vineyards. The vineyards extend for 16 hectares and have organic certification.

The wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, rigorously harvested by hand. The grapes are gently pressed and vinified in red. The wine obtained ages for 15 months in French oak barriques.

Ruby red in colour, the aromas of red and black fruits and spicy notes are perceived on the nose. The sip is refined and elegant, with soft but firm tannins.

This wine goes very well with roasted and grilled red meats.
