Description
Second wine of Château Dauzac that comes from 35-40 years old vines, grown on the characteristic gravelly soils of the Haut-Médoc.
It consists of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested once they have reached the full stage of ripeness. Made with a vinification by gravity, it ferments in steel at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine ages in cask for 18 months.
It shows a purple red color. The nose dominated mainly by fruit is underlined by graceful spicy touches. In the mouth it shows all its volume and a complex and balanced body that ends on a pleasantly fresh finish.
Recommended to combine with both white and red meat, it is perfect in the company of game and aged cheeses.
