Description

The Tritono Malbec from the Tritono winery of the same name was born in the Finca Montuiri and Finca Percas vineyards, located in the historic region of Lujan de Cuyo, in the extraordinary landscape of the Andes. The Tritono was born thanks to the collaboration of the famous Joe Bastianich and the two winemakers, Steve Clifton and Matias Mayol.

It is produced exclusively with Malbec grapes. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 16 months and for a further 18 months in bottle.

It is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of cinnamon, enriched with pleasant hints of plum, black cherry and light shades of orange peel. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and spicy, with an intense and elegant body. The wine has a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany mushroom-based first courses, it is ideal in combination with red meats and aged cheeses
