Description

The Midleton Very Rare whiskey is an extraordinary and vintage cuvée, the result of a careful assembly of rare and exceptional pot still whiskey with single grain whiskey. The aging in lightly charred ex-Bourbon oak barrels for 12-28 years gives a characteristic vanilla sweetness.

Amber in color, it offers delicate floral and herbaceous notes derived from single grain whiskey, together with a spicy texture made of cinnamon, cloves and black pepper attributable to the contribution of whiskey pot still. The surprising finish leaves you speechless moving towards hints of orchard and barley.

For its complex and persistent aroma it deserves a pure smooth taste.
