Description

Morellino di Scansano from Cantine MorisFarms is born in vineyards located between the hills and the sea, in the splendid landscape of the Tuscan Maremma.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with Merlot and Syrah grapes, harvested between the second half of September and the first week of October. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with two pumping over per day for a maceration period of 15 days. The wine is bottled after 4 months, without passing through the wood, and undergoes an aging period of at least 2 months.

This Morellino di Scansano has a bright ruby red color. The scent is intense, with pleasant fruity hints, and the taste is full, with good freshness and harmony.

Its balance makes it a wine for the whole meal, particularly recommended in combination with meat dishes.
