Description

The Morellino di Scansano Riserva from Cantina 8380 is an oenological jewel, an exaltation of pure Sangiovese that embodies the quintessence of the Tuscan territory.

The grape harvest takes place from the first half of September to the first half of October. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks is followed by aging in tonneaux for 12 months, after which the wine returns to steel for the final blend.

Intense purple red color. It displays an intense and complex bouquet based on ripe red fruit on the nose. On the palate it reveals a well-structured and persistent wine.

It is a perfect match for all game-based dishes. It goes well with mature cheeses and red meats.
