Moscadello di Montalcino DOC 2018 Capanna
Description
The Moscadello di Montalcino of the Capanna company comes to life in the municipality of Montosoli, thanks to the rediscovery of ancient Moscato Bianco strains dating back to the 16th century.
At the end of the manual harvesting operations, the bunches are fermented in steel at a low temperature, 10-15 ° C, with maceration on the skins for 2 days. The fermentation is interrupted with the sudden lowering of the temperature in order to guarantee the right sugar level and progressively filtered in sterile conditions before final bottling.
In the glass it shows a beautiful pale golden yellow. The nose is characterized by intense aromas characteristic of the starting variety, with an alternation of floral and fruity scents. On the palate it is pleasantly sweet and fresh.
Perfect in combination with dry pastries, cream and fruit desserts, but also in the company of blue cheeses.
