Description

The Nobile di Montepulciano Asinone di Poliziano was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Montepulciano.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 20-25 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 16-18 months before being bottled.

It is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with floral hints of sour cherries and violets, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of laurel, rhubarb, coffee and cinchona. On the palate it is pleasantly tannic, full and persistent, with a coffee flavored aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and roasts, it is ideal in combination with stews, game and mature cheeses.
