Offida Pecorino DOCG Rêve 2015 Velenosi

The Offida Pecorino Rêve di Velenosi was born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Ascoli Piceno and Castel di Lama, in the heart of the Marche region.

It is made entirely from Pecorino grapes, harvested late by hand in small boxes. After a short cold maceration and a soft pressing of the grapes, the fermentation begins in steel tanks, after which half the must is transferred to new French oak barrels where it completes the fermentation and remains for 6 months on the fine lees. Once assembled, the wine remains to refine for a further 6 months, before being bottled.

Velenosi 's Rêve has a bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose opens with elegant and intense aromas of white flowers and ripe yellow fruit, which leave room for heady hints of vanilla. On the palate it is opulent and structured, very persistent.

Excellent as an aperitif, it is ideal to accompany seafood appetizers, fresh cheeses and risotto.
