Description

Gagliole’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from the heart of Chianti, made from Correggiolo, Leccino, Frantoio and Moraiolo olives. An authentic expression of the land and the estate’s tradition, it has been recognized by the magazine Merum as one of Italy’s finest extra virgin olive oils.

The olives are hand-picked with particular attention to fruit quality, then crushed directly at the estate’s Mori-TEM mill in Castellina in Chianti, so as to best preserve freshness, aromas and natural characteristics.

On the nose it is fragrant and harmonious, with pleasant vegetal notes and hints that recall fresh olive and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is balanced, intense and persistent, with a lively fruity component accompanied by the typical slightly bitter and peppery sensations of a high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

Ideal used raw on bruschetta, vegetables, soups, legumes, meats, fish and cheeses, it enhances dishes with its fragrant and harmonious character.
