Description

The Oltrenero Rosé is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine produced by Oltrenero in the Oltrepò Pavese region. Made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes, it represents an elegant and contemporary interpretation of sparkling rosé, born from a vision that enhances the territory and varietal identity.

The grapes, harvested manually in small crates, are destemmed and left to macerate for 6-8 hours to delicately extract the color. After gentle pressing and static decantation, the must ferments in steel for about 12 days. The base wine matures in steel until July and then undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, where it ages on the lees for at least 36 months, followed by 2 months after disgorgement.

It presents a vibrant pink color with brilliant reflections, enriched by a very fine perlage and a persistent foam. The bouquet is fragrant, with citrus notes of mandarin and hints of small red fruits such as raspberry, currant, and wild strawberries, with an elegant hint of bread crust. The taste is decisive, fresh, and savory, with aromatic notes consistent with the nose.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with delicate cold cuts, risottos, vegetable soups, shellfish, and raw fish.
