Description

The Primitivo di Manduria Duna Mirante of Borgo dei Trulli was born in vineyards located in Campomarino, in the municipality of Maruggio.

The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of September. The grapes are destemmed and vinified with whole berries. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in thermoregulated steel tanks and lasts 8-10 days thanks to the addition of selected yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is then induced, followed by the refinement of the wine in barriques for 12 months.

Intense ruby red in color, the nose perceives aromas of red fruits, eucalyptus and salty notes. The sip is concentrated and enveloping, with a persistent finish.

Excellent meditation wine, it also goes well with stewed red meats.
