Description

Puglia Primitivo Petranera di Albea was born in vineyards located between the municipalities of Gioia del Colle, San Michele and Acquaviva, in the wonderful Apulian landscape.

It is obtained from pure Primitivo grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with 12-day maceration, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in Nièvre barrique and 5 months in bottle.

Petranera is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with enveloping aromas of red fruits such as blackberry and black currant, enriched with notes of light tobacco. On the palate it is full and elegant, with noble tannins and a pleasantly fresh and harmonious finish.

This red wine is perfect to accompany second courses of red meat and aged cheeses.
