Description

Nikka's Pure Malt Black is a blended peated whiskey, obtained from the distillation of several malt-only whiskeys that come from the Yochi distillery in Hokkaido and Miyagikyo, near Sendai, Japan.

Nikka's Pure Malt Black is dark amber in color. On the nose it carries sweet aromas of peat and sugary candies, enriched with hints of licorice, green apple and oak wood. In the mouth it is gently peaty and fruity, and then evolves towards slightly spicy notes of burnt caramel, cocoa and oak.

Recommended as a meditation whiskey.
