Description

Nikka's Pure Malt Red is a blended whiskey made from a blend of various malt-only whiskeys from the Miyagikyo distillery near Sendai, Japan.

Amber in color, Nikka's Pure Malt Red opens to the nose with delicate aromas of sweet peat and sugary candies, enriched with light hints of licorice and fruit. On the palate it shows a dry attack, followed by sweet notes of sherry and burnt caramel, with a slightly bitter aftertaste and a pleasant and peaty finish.

Ideal as a meditation whiskey.
