Description
The Sphaeranera red wine from the I Cacciagalli winery was born in the Upper Caserta area. The surrounding area is dominated by the inactive Roccamonfina volcano, whose activity has contributed to the composition of the land.
The wine is made up of 100% Palagrello Nero grapes, which are vinified with spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins for 7-8 hours in amphorae. In the same containers the wine ages on the fine lees for 8 months.
Deep ruby red in color, floral aromas are perceived on the nose. On the palate it shows a good structure, dense tannins and a good persistence.
Excellent with lasagna with meat sauce.
