Description
The Reserva Ocho is handcrafted assembled by the Maestros de Ron Bacardi from a selection of aged Caribbean rums, in American white oak barrels for at least 8 years. It is the personal reserve of the Bacardi family, kept for 7 generations and the result of one of the oldest blended rum recipes in the world, by Don Facundo Bacardí, which has survived for over 130 years.
It shows an elegant amber colour. On the nose it develops deep aromas of apricot, dried plum and nutmeg, accompanied by an omnipresent vanilla trail typical of the ageing in wood. On the palate it shows a perfect balance and a unique complexity.
Ideal to serve straight or on ice cubes on special occasions, it enters the preparation of great cocktails such as Old Cuban and Old Fashioned.
