Description

Rosso di Montalcino di Castello Romitorio comes from vineyards located in the heart of the municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. The wine ages in barriques for 12 months to acquire the complexity necessary for any further aging in the bottle.

This Rosso di Montalcino is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas of red fruits, enriched with pleasant hints of violet. On the palate it is elegant, round and pleasantly fruity.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and game, it is ideal in combination with red meats.
