Description

Rosso di Montalcino Fascia Rossa comes from the vineyards with over 10 years of age on the Greppo di Biondi Santi estate. It is a product that, due to more complicated vintages, does not have the organoleptic characteristics to be able to call itself Brunello but still remains a great wine.

Sangiovese in purity, maturing for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

Intense ruby red wine with garnet reflections, it offers elegant notes of black pepper and cinnamon to the nose, closing on a bouquet of dried flowers, blackberry jam and licorice. On the palate it is soft, with silky tannins and an interminable spicy finish.

Excellent with red meats in general and traditional Tuscan soups. Recommended in combination with the Florentine steak.
